If you need assistance from TRS, we're ready to help! Here’s how you can currently reach us:
- At TRS: Meet with a Member Services Representative and/or drop off paperwork during business hours. (Appointments are not required.)
- By Phone: Call 1 (888) 8-NYC-TRS (869-2877).
- By Video Conference: Schedule a one-on-one virtual meeting with a Member Services Representative. (Read Tips for successful virtual meetings.)
- By Email: Send a general inquiry or form request to AskTRSNYC@trs.nyc.ny.us and we will do our best to reply within three to five business days. To protect the security of your information, TRS cannot provide case-specific information via email.
- By Fax/E-Fax: Use (212) 918-9253 if you need to submit documents to TRS.
- By Mail: Send correspondence to TRS at 55 Water Street, New York NY 10041, but do allow extra time for delivery.
TRS offices are open 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except on official New York City holidays.
Visiting TRS
Our second-floor Member Services Center is easily accessible through the entrance at the southeast corner of the building, facing the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Plaza. You will need a valid government-issued photo ID that includes a signature to enter the building.
